100% PURE HABUTAUI SILK

This gorgeous silk box top has a "v"neck. The boxy shape takes on a feminine twist from the drape of the silk.
It has a wide-cut body with relaxed silhouette. Crafted in 40g habutai silk dyed in the itajime (Japanese clamp dye) shibori technique. Each 3 meter piece of fabric is folded, clamped and dyed by hand - repeated up to 3 times to layer the colours - so there may be slight variations in colour and pattern between pieces.
Dropped shoulders with box sleeves and short side slits add beautiful detailing.
Our silhouettes are designed to enhance layering, flow & drape. The clothing is stitched by brothers Parvez & Lal in Delhi.

+/- a tolerance inherent to hand made clothing
Care: Dry cleaning recommended for colourways with significant white-dark sections. Other colourways: gentle & quick hand wash in mild detergent. Don't soak as some colours may run. Drip dry in the shade. Gentle steam iron.
