Handwoven Cotton Kaftan
This beautiful, bold, black and white check pattern Kaftan has a tie back, edged with colourful pom pom detail. It is hand woven in “thorthu” fabric and slits on both sides.
Each piece has been lovingly hand woven by Artisan weavers in Kerala. This is a social enterprise owned and run by women and working with co-operatives to create fair trade hand woven textiles. It is a member of Fair Trade India.
Eco Credentials: Hand weaving makes the process carbon neutral. Artisan weavers work in a free and open environment, where products are made from ancient local fabrics and hand woven on traditional wooden looms. They are paid a fair wage for their work which is sustainable.

Care : Machine wash cold, delicate. No Biological powder. Do not bleach. Tumble dry low heat. Medium heat Iron.
Fabric: 100% hand woven cotton. Each piece is hand woven, and handmade, so please allow for minor variations in size and pattern. We think this is one of the reasons to love handmade fabrics.
